An opportunity to head up the Engineering function and be part of a great leadership team in an opencast and plant environment, overseeing maintenance and reliability for plant (flotation), instrumentation, earthmoving and mobile machinery, mechanical, electrical, boilermaking etc.

The role requires a strong leader, who places high priority on Visible Felt Leadership and has both the technical and people skills to develop the team and restore the plant to optimal operation.

You will need:

A Degree or National Diploma in Engineering

GCC (M&W) certification.

At least 10 years in mining, with experience in carrying a 2.13.1 legal appointment

Strong process plant experience, preferably with experience in flotation, and solid experience with earthmoving equipment and TMM maintenance and reliability

Excellent people skills, especially in leading the Engineering team to be their best and coach and develop direct reports (GES, 2.13.3.1 engineers)

The role is based an hour outside of Pretoria (in Limpopo).
