A very exciting time to join, as the new focus is to develop and ensure integration across all disciplines at the mine, and this role will spearhead that. The next 1-3 years is critical in delivering on integration and supporting the companies’ vision to be the most attractive mining employer in South Africa and globally.
The role will also continue to cement the improvement drive company- and group-wide and lead the Operating Model /Business ImprovementPprocesses function. This will include translating business expectations as set by the CEO into operational planning, feedback and continuous monitoring of execution, and continuously driving improvement.

This role forms part of the senior management team at the mine.

The role is only open to South African citizens. Female candidate will be preferred, or AA males.
4 year Engineering degree is essential
MBA or similar highly preferable
Solid experience in mining is essential (5-8 years)
At least 3-5 years business improvement specific experience
Knowldege of BI tools such as Lean Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints etc.
