The role is with a successful and growing mining contracting house. Reporting to the CEO and leading the GMs of the various sites/contracts, this role requires both a strategic and hands-on approach.

Although the role is based in Gauteng,  frequent travel to sites across South Africa is necessary and you will need to be available to travel up to 3 out 4 weeks in a month.

Current projects include large openpit mining contracts – which is challenging but running successfully.

Previous experience with junior and major mining companies, and solid experience in contract mining is necessary to fulfill this role.

A relevant degree + 20 yrs relevant experience and solid senior and exec management exp is required.

Must be a South African citizen or RSA perm resident.
