2 Opportunities with a top mining group for Corporate Finance Specialists to join their teams – either at the corporate office or in a listed group company. Working on major capital projects/commercial valuations, M&A work, funding and capital structures etc. you’ll be closely involved with strategic decision making in the business. Excellent exposure to key decision makers and scope for growth into group companies or specialised areas in the business.

You would need:

Finance degree + further qualification such as CA(SA)/ CIMA / MBA / CFA or similar

Be a top academic performer

5-8 years working experience – that could be with a top 4 professional firm with experience in dealmaking / transaction services; in investment banking; management consulting or a major corporate in a corporate finance team

Candidates qualified in engineering disciplines with a further finance qualification and experience in financial modelling/ valuations etc. can also be considered

A background in renewable energy projects will be an advantage
