The role is with a successful and growing mining contracting house. Reporting to the CEO and COO and leading the team as the GM on this openpit mining contract, this role requires both a strategic and very hands-on approach.

Based in the Northern Cape, and requiring long hours on site. Accomidation will be provided by the employer.

Managing a large yellow fleet and staff complement of between 460 – 540 employees, proven senior management expertise is essential.

Previous experience in contract mining is necessary to fulfill this role.

A relevant degree + 15 – 20 yrs relevant experience and solid senior management exp (GM level) is required.

Must be a South African citizen or RSA perm resident.
