African male or female. R900k – R1.3m pa ctc + company bakkie. Middelburg, Mpumalanga. Come head up the plant / yellow fleet team for this mining specialist service company. Unlisted, dynamic and very successful company with long standing contracts with various opencast mines to deliver specialist services.

A strong leader with proven experience in heading up plant – which includes the workshop and site based teams; plant availability and performance; preventative maintenance; buying of new equipment and all commercial aspects of the department and sytems; client and supplier relationships.

A background in opencast miing or logistics and transport is ideal.
Suitable qualification would include a Mech Eng degree or National Diploma, or similar, with proven experience in managing the Plant Department.

The role is based in Middelburg but will require travel to sites, especially in the beginning, across Mpumalanga, Northwest and Limpopo.

This role is reserved for a South African EE citizen.
