A long duration contract role (3 year contract), with a definite view to be appointed permanently, this role is ideal for a dynamic young Professionally Registered Civil Engineer (Pr Eng) with a B.Eng qualification.

The role froms part of the Stay-in-Business Projects team at the mine and will focus a lot on design work and management of contractors involved in construction projects at the mine.
With a multi-billion Rand project pipeline the role will offer great opportunity to work on significant projects.
The role is site based at the mine in the Northern Cape and relocation would be required. The employer will provide housing.

You would need at least 5 to 8 years’ experience in:

• Construction / Engineering Project Management environment.
• Contractor Management
• Mining industry experience – Highly desirable
• Significant exposure to SHE management of the construction environment – Advantage
• Managing external stakeholders – Advantage
• Multi-disciplinary engineering experience – Mandatory
• Design office experience
