This role will suit the best of the best… exceptional qualified engineers with experience in opencast/ openpit mining and excellent knowledge of heavy mining equipment (HME, opencast TMM).

An environment that requires you to be pro-active and innovative, to bring your contributions because the strong systems and processes aren’t always solve problems or support growth in the best way. So you’ll need to be able to work within the systems but work beyond them when that is the right call to make.

The mine is huge and even at Section Engineer level you will function and carry the responsibilities of an Engineering Manager.

You will need your GCC Mines qualification and some experience in a Section Engineer or Engineering Manager (legally appointed) role, with the specific opencast and HME / TMM equipment experience.
